It's one of our family's favorite Christmas (or rather, Advent) traditions. We'd love to share it this gift with you: from our family to yours with love!
If you're new to Jesse Trees, check out: This is a Jesse Tree
and journey with us through this season using the index below!
INTRO: This is a Jesse Tree
I began this project in 2014, around the same time we were blessed with the news we were expecting our fourth little one! Morning sickness and sleepiness took over near the end, but I look forward to continuing this work as I am able. Last year I added a few more posts, and plan to continue the project this year!
In this space I will list the passage and picture for each day (other versions of the Jesse Tree may use a different progression of scripture passages than I have here). I have also linked to my posts for each day. I hope they will inspire you and open up the richness of the story of the Savior whom we await together in this season for both you and your dear ones!
In each post I've included ideas for family discussion, prayer, and worship. Usually the story and reflection is simple enough for the whole family. There are a few stories where I've included a separate children's version because the story may be scary, or because there's some aspect of the story that is especially of interest for us grown-ups. There's always more to learn!
Please share how you have brought the Jesse Tree Tradition to life in your own home in the comments section below each post. As this is an ongoing project, I would love to incorporate some of those ideas along the way!

You can find a few ideas to get the conversation started here.
